Finally Here!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing great as school, sports, and fall activities are starting back up! Just wanted to pop on here quick and share a couple exciting announcements!

• On August 10th, just over three weeks ago I got my final donation to officially bring me to 100% of my final amount for my trip! I am so beyond excited for every single person that has supported me thus far whether that was financially or prayerfully. Through the whole fundraising process, the initial donation being paid on September 6th, 2022 and the final one on August 10th, 2023,  there were many times when I was very doubtful I would raise all the money needed. Starting that process was very overwhelming,  and I had very little hope I would raise my final total. From the first donation to the last, it was a mere 338 days of trusting that my life and plan was in God’s hands, not my own. The aspect of totally putting my life within God’s hands won’t start tomorrow when I set up my tent, but has been present throughout the past 338 days when I leaned on Him to provide for me… AND HE ABSOLUTELY DID! God has provided financially more than I could ever imagine, and surrounded me with people praying for me daily. He has provided an army of people at home loving me, cheering me on, and praying for me throughout the next year.
• I am SO very excited for this journey to officially start TOMORROW! AHHHH!! (: I’ll be meeting my new family for the next nine months, and setting up my new home for the next year as well (my tent)! One part of me is so excited to start this journey to spread Jesus’ love to everyone all around the world, but the other small part is like, “what am I even doing?!” But ya know, that is apart of this journey, yet I have so much more excitement than anxiety at this point!
