WOW.

Currently, I am sitting in my living room at 11 pm with my new headlamp staring directly at this computer.

Anyhow, I just wanted to hop onto my blog and share some ways of how God has been showing up BIG in my life.

1. I am sitting at 95% for fundraising! OH MY GOODNESS! I am absolutely overwhelmed and so excited about this accomplishment! When I started this fundraising journey back in December, I was dreading this process to raise $17,000. I had no idea how I was going to get all this money and had many doubtful moments that God wouldn’t show up, but oh how He did! Getting 95% raised of my total amount is by no means my work, but all glory and honor to God. God showed up when I was doubtful and anxious about this process more than I would have ever imagined.
2. He has shown me throughout these last few months two very big things. The first, being that I am taking this step of faith to travel the world and share my love for Jesus with people who may have never heard the gospel is in His plan for me. And I am so beyond excited for this chance!! If God didn’t want me to go on this trip, I would not have had the heart to travel to impoverished countries for the last three years, nor would I have raised 95% of my total amount needed! But both of those things have happened! The second big thing that he has shown me is that He is a faithful and promise-fulfilling God. In Deuteronomy, chapter 7 it says “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.” He showed His faithfulness immensely throughout my fundraising journey and I could not be more thankful.
3. As I look back at my last couple years, I notice just how much that God protected and helped me throughout all types of situations. These last two years I have met some of the most amazing people who have helped to change my life for the better, along with going through some of the hardest life changes I have ever gone through. This has consisted of many times of spiritual highs, along with spiritual lows but throughout it all, I have grown in my faith tremendously. God has been present, walking alongside me through every step. Just looking back at the last couple years, I can now see how every situation, group I led, or conversation I have had, has helped lead me to taking this step of faith to go on this trip. Not only getting me on this trip, but also preparing my heart for what may come my way throughout the next year.

I am so overwhelmingly blown away by all the goodness and faithfulness God has shown towards me throughout the past couple years, and specifically the last few months. I am so honored and privileged to have this opportunity and go be the hands and feet for Christ on this Earth.
